This definition excludes multi-source copy products that make up much of markets such as India, Spain and Italy.
Authors of the report point out that the ethical generic segment generates 76.8% of the global market's aggregate value. They also highlight that Brazil, Canada, Mexico and the US together account for 41.9% of the global market's total value.
